Why we exist?
The accounting profession is an essential part of our economy, especially for a young democracy like the one we have in South Africa. To achieve the growth targets that our economy requires to meet unemployment and other challenges, skilled resources are required especially in the area of finance and management of finance. Also, for a country that has a unique history as ours, it is even more critical to ensure that those skilled resources required for stimulation of economic activity come from the previously marginalized sectors of population. One of the strategic objectives of Government is to stimulate economic growth through empowering SMME’s and as an SMME, MCA aims to ensure Government objectives of economic development, poverty eradication and employment is achieved.
We, at Modiba Consulting Accountants, see ourselves playing a pivotal role in the accomplishment of the above objectives by being committed to the development of Black accountants and other skilled resources in the areas of finance and management of finance, bookkeeping, financial record keeping, compliance and governance.
We provide an ideal environment where aspiring young Black professionals can learn and grow to become well-groomed professionals of their trade.
